Just a quick update to say that the second session of my fourth round went well. The chemo suite was almost empty, so I felt that I was receiving extra special attention from the nurses. By the way, they are always wonderful, making sure patients are comfortable and well attended.
Elise and her housemate, Mindy, spent the weekend with us. We had a lovely day in Coeur d'Alene before Mindy flew back to Seattle this evening. Elise will stay here for two weeks so we can take care of some wedding details. She'll also be helping both my mother and me as needed. Tomorrow we'll take Mom to a couple of appointments which will lead up to her humerus replacement surgery on Thursday. After that, she will be in an extended care facility for about a week.
I appreciate your comments and look forward to sending you good news week by week.
Thankyou!
Linda

Hi Linda - I continue to think about you and pray for your continued health and strength for this journey. The Teacher Profile is in its final stages - all the rubrics, grading suggestions and study guides are in the last "polishing" stages. All the work that you and the rest of the former and current NCCs have done is coming together in an very exciting way!

Hi Linda, so glad to hear the sessions are going well again and of course that you had a great time with Mindy and Elise home. I know Elise will keep you and your Mom entertained during this next week of doctors and surgery for your mom. Give her our best and we will be praying. Love you lots, Janiece.
